Bachelor's requirements:

Mathematics prerequisites: Upper secondary school mathematics is sufficient for entry. Statistics, linear algebra and calculus are taught from scratch. Most universities offer free online preparatory courses in mathematics and Python.

Are degrees from private universities recognised?

All private universities listed on privathochschulen.net are state-recognised (staatlich anerkannt) and their programmes are accredited – either through institutional accreditation or programme accreditation by agencies such as ASIIN, FIBAA or AQAS. A Bachelor's or Master's in Data Science from a German private university is legally equivalent to a degree from a public university.
