However, no special conditions such as discount campaigns or costs for travel and study materials have been taken into account here. It is therefore advisable to consult the information provided by the individual universities on fees and costs.

Since the costs for dual study programmes are usually covered by the student's training company, they are not listed here and can be found in the following section.

Dual study in Schleswig-Holstein: All degree programmes at a glance

The dual study programme is also becoming increasingly popular in Schleswig-Holstein. This practice-oriented form of study offers students the opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge at universities with practical experience in companies.

The dual study programme enables students to gain comprehensive insights into the working world during their studies by alternating theoretical phases at the university with practical phases in the company. This gives students the chance to apply what they have learned directly in practice and to make valuable professional contacts. This facilitates the transition into professional life and increases the chances of a successful career.

Perhaps the greatest advantage and reason for the popularity of dual studies is financial independence. Students receive remuneration from companies during their studies and for their practical work, which helps to cover study costs and reduce financial burdens.
