Berlin International University of Applied Sciences

Berlin International University of Applied Sciences (formerly BAU International Berlin – University of Applied Sciences) is a private, state-recognized university of applied sciences in the heart of Berlin. The university was founded in 2014 and is part of the "B.A.U. Higher Education Service gGmbH". The university is part of an international network that includes educational institutions in cities such as Istanbul, Washington D.C., Toronto, and Batumi. This enables students to have diverse international study and exchange opportunities.

Berlin International University of Applied Sciences is characterized by its intercultural and international focus. Students and staff from over 92 different countries contribute to a multicultural and dynamic learning environment. The focus is on practical and innovative teaching methods that prepare students for global professional challenges. As participants in the Erasmus+ programme, students can also gain international study experiences.

All programs at the university are offered in English. The bachelor's programs include B.A. Architecture, B.A. Interior Architecture, B.A. Product Design, B.A. Graphic Design and Visual Communication, B.A. Business Administration - Human Resource Management & Leadership, B.A. Business Administration - International Management and Marketing, as well as B.A. Data Science & Business. In addition, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and an M.A. Interior Architecture are offered. Students can participate in an English preparatory course if needed to improve their language skills. The quality of the study programs has been reviewed and positively accredited by the accreditation agency ACQUIN, confirming the academic excellence of the university.

The president of the university is Dr. Yüksel Pögün-Zander. In the summer semester of 2023, 567 students were enrolled at the university, supported by 121 staff members, including 20 professors.
