The Fliedner University of Applied Sciences Dusseldorf is a private, state-recognized university of applied sciences that has been in existence since 2011. Its courses of study are rooted in the educational tradition of the Kaiserswerther Diakonie for professions in the health, social and educational sectors. Progress and tradition are brought together at the Fliedner University of Applied Sciences. This applies to the external framework of the university as well as to the development of the study programs. In 2012, the university moved into a historic building, which was supplemented by a modern extension. The result is a place of learning with a special ambience and good working conditions.
