Admission requirements
Access to the degree programme is granted to those who
- according to § 49 HG hold the general university entrance qualification, the advanced technical college entrance qualification, or an equivalent recognised university entrance qualification,
- have completed a 4-week practical placement in a clinical institution or with the future employer, and
- can provide appropriate grades/academic records in mathematics, natural sciences, and English

Due to digitalisation in healthcare, the amount of medical information is growing faster than ever before. As medical information managers, you will learn to process, organise and analyse this data, thus helping to gain new insights in medicine and improve patient treatment.
The degree programme covers content from statistics, medicine, health policy, economics, computer science, documentation and organisation in the medical field. Therefore, medical information managers act as intermediaries and communicators between these areas.
The course is particularly aimed at school leavers and interested individuals who enjoy natural sciences and computer science as well as working with numbers and data.
