Admission requirements

Access to the degree programme is granted to those who

  • can provide proof of a first professional degree in the degree programmes Medical Assistance – Surgery or Physician Assistant with a scope of 180 ECTS. The degree should have been completed with a grade of 2.5 or better.
  • as well as two years of professional experience in direct patient care and an employment contract with a cooperating practice facility of the Fliedner University of Applied Sciences.

Details

The Physician Assistant degree programme is the logical continuation of a bachelor's degree in Medical Assistance – Surgery or a comparable field. In the master's programme, you will achieve a significantly deeper understanding of your core subject through scientific reflection and gain a considerably broader education in medicine by applying your previous skills to other medical areas. Through your intensive collaboration with a medical mentor, medical responsibilities will be entrusted to you at an increasingly higher level in delegation (in accordance with Annex 24 BMV-Ä §4) during your studies.
