Admission requirements
The basic admission requirement for the vocational pedagogical master's programme is a completed training in a nursing profession (or a primary qualifying nursing degree = dual study programme with integrated practical training) or another health professional occupation. Furthermore, the academic degree of a bachelor's is a mandatory requirement. The bachelor's degree must have been completed with a grade of 2.5 or better.

The part-time Master’s degree programme in Vocational Pedagogy for Nursing and Health is aimed at bachelor graduates who see their professional future as teachers specialising in nursing and health at vocational schools, technical colleges, or recognised training institutions.
The course comprises three continuous pillars:
Pillar A: Study of Educational Science
Pillar B: Study of the vocational specialism Nursing
Pillar C: Study of the vocational specialism Health
Each semester also has a thematic focus, in which all three pillars are represented:
Theoretical concepts and basic forms of research-based action
Core competencies and references of the disciplines
Teaching and learning in theory and practice
Intentions and concepts of innovative action
Master’s thesis, colloquium
