Admission requirements
Access to the course of study is granted to those who
- according to § 49 HG have a general university entrance qualification, a Fachhochschulreife (advanced technical college certificate) or an equivalent recognised higher education entrance qualification and
- can provide proof of completed training as a health and nursing professional, paediatric nurse, geriatric nurse or a comparable occupation.
Details
The degree programme is specifically aimed at nurses who already have professional experience in the field of management and who are seeking a first academic qualification for the area of middle and senior management.

Nursing science/nursing management
Health care economics
In addition, the degree programme is characterised by a systems theory orientation and establishes a special connection to different nursing practice fields (hospital, residential care for the elderly, and outpatient elderly and nursing care).

After individual assessment, the following certificates can be obtained upon completion of the degree programme:
Certificate recognising the responsible nursing professional according to § 71, para. 3, SGB XI
