The part-time degree programme qualifies for vocational pedagogical tasks in initial and further training in the fields of emergency medical services, emergency medicine, and civil and disaster protection, as well as for other educational and advisory activities in work areas related to emergency medical services. Accordingly, the programme imparts scientifically based knowledge for understanding and further developing vocational education issues in emergency medical services. This also includes the development of a scientifically grounded position regarding one's own professional role through reflection on pedagogical actions in close feedback with one's own learning and career biography.
