Admission requirements
Access to the degree programme is granted to those who
- in accordance with § 49 HG have the general higher education entrance qualification, the advanced technical college entrance qualification, or an equivalent recognised university entrance qualification and
- can provide proof of a four-week surgical hospital internship or an internship in a comparable institution (e.g. day clinic).
Applicants who can provide proof of training as a registered nurse (GKP), medical assistant (MFA), physiotherapist, surgical technologist (OTA) or technical radiographer (CTA) generally do not require a four-week hospital internship.

The Bachelor's degree programme Physician Assistance is designed to be interdisciplinary in order to provide a broad range of theoretical knowledge foundations and their practical relevance in professional practice.
The focus is on the medical, natural and social science basic subjects as well as Medical Assistance. Additionally, it is important to have not only knowledge but also comprehensive methodological competence needed to address complex problems in a scientific field.
