Admission requirements

Access to the degree programme is granted to those who

  • in accordance with § 49 HG have the general higher education entrance qualification, the advanced technical college entrance qualification, or an equivalent recognised university entrance qualification and
  • can provide proof of a four-week surgical hospital internship or an internship in a comparable institution (e.g. day clinic).

Applicants who can provide proof of training as a registered nurse (GKP), medical assistant (MFA), physiotherapist, surgical technologist (OTA) or technical radiographer (CTA) generally do not require a four-week hospital internship.
