German-language Business Administration Degree Programme
Degree: Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)

This business administration degree qualifies you in a generalist and practice-oriented manner: Due to the key qualifications acquired here, such as teamwork and communication skills, as well as the expertise in all operational functional areas, you will be able to quickly familiarise yourself with new tasks after graduation and develop economically sound solutions for practical application. This also includes the competence to communicate expertly within a team and to present confidently. You take interdisciplinary responsibility and manage projects with holistic tasks. Thanks to your knowledge of Business English, you are furthermore able to work in internationally composed project teams.

COURSE CONTENT AND STRUCTURE:

This degree programme offers a generalist business administration course that is practice-oriented and tailored to the needs of working professionals in various industries and functional areas. The courses are consistently held in German. The final Bachelor's thesis is also written in German.

The first semesters deal with the imparting of fundamental business and economic knowledge. From the 5th semester onwards, various specialisation modules are available for selection, allowing you to tailor your studies to your personal work environment or your future areas of interest (detailed information on the elective modules is available from your regional study advisor). Additionally, Business English instruction takes place in the 5th semester.

The work-integrated FOM concept offers an optimal connection between your employment in the company and an economic university degree. The innovative mix of teaching methods combining face-to-face lectures, workshops and group work qualifies you for management tasks in almost all professional fields and promotes important key competencies such as teamwork and communication skills.

In the 7th semester, interdisciplinary case studies and the final thesis (Bachelor thesis) take centre stage. Here, the academic knowledge gained from the studies is applied to concrete cases from business practice. Upon completion of the university studies, the academic degree "Bachelor of Arts (Business Administration)" is awarded.
