With your B.A. in Business Administration, for example, you can work in controlling, project management, or human resources development. Alternatively, you can pursue a master's or MBA after your studies.

In order to begin studies at Fresenius University, applicants must demonstrate the qualifications required for the program (university entrance qualification). This can be demonstrated by:

  • the general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur), which allows for studying at all universities and in all federal states,
  • or the subject-specific higher education entrance qualification, which allows for studies in the corresponding subject and in the federal states specified in the diploma,
  • or the vocational baccalaureate, which allows for studies at a university of applied sciences or in a structured program at a university in the federal states specified in the diploma.

Alternatively, you can also be admitted without a higher education entrance qualification. The following is required for studying without this qualification:

  • You have passed a master craftsman's examination.
  • Or you have a qualification according to the Regulation on Access for Professionally Qualified Persons to Universities in the State of Hesse, which includes a qualification from a vocational advanced training course of at least 400 hours, a qualification from a technical school or a professional or administrative academy, or a passed examination in a state-recognized training occupation with at least three years of subsequent professional experience and passing a separate university entrance examination.
  • For foreign qualifications, equivalence must be demonstrated for admission.

Applicants who have obtained a subject-specific higher education entrance qualification or vocational baccalaureate, but whose diploma does not list the state of Hesse, are requested to contact us at the free info hotline 0800/3400400 or arrange a call back - we are happy to assist and look forward to your call!

By the way: If you have completed a commercial IHK training, you can enter the 2nd semester directly. This way you can shorten the standard study period from 7 to 6 semesters.
