Gisma University of Applied Sciences

Gisma University of Applied Sciences is a private university with locations in Potsdam and Berlin, which emerged in 1999 from an initiative of the Lower Saxony state government and leading companies. The university is now part of Global University Systems B.V., which acquired it in 2013.

Gisma offers a diverse range of practice-oriented degree programmes tailored to the demands of the global job market. The programmes include bachelor's and master's degrees as well as MBA programmes and executive education courses, some of which were developed in collaboration with renowned international partner universities such as Grenoble Ecole de Management and the University of Law.

The university is accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) and targets its programmes specifically at students aiming for international careers. All programmes are taught in English, making the university particularly attractive to international students.

Potsdam Campus
Gisma's main campus is located in Potsdam and is part of the innovative SAP Think Campus. The modern building is designed as a "Smart Building" and promotes creative teaching and learning methods. The Potsdam Campus is excellently connected to public transport. Tramline 96 and several bus lines stop near the campus. Moreover, Berlin can be reached in just 20 to 30 minutes via Potsdam Central Station.

Berlin Campus
The Berlin campus of Gisma University of Applied Sciences was opened in 2017 and spans an area of 1600 square metres. Here, study programmes such as the Grenoble MBA as well as various master's programmes in collaboration with international partners are offered. The Berlin campus provides students with an urban atmosphere and access to a large network of companies and institutions, offering additional opportunities for internships and professional networking.
