The following options apply for admission to the Bachelor’s in Applied Social Sciences:

- University of Applied Sciences entrance qualification (Fachabitur)
- Without Abitur: subject-specific advanced training examination, e.g. as master craftsman, specialist, IHK qualification, or a completed vocational training with at least three years of professional experience and a passed aptitude test

In the bachelor's degree programme Applied Social Sciences, you acquire a broad foundation of knowledge in key disciplines of the social sciences. These include sociology, political science, economics, communication studies and social psychology. You engage intensively with societal issues such as the labour market, education system, social inequality, migration and digitalisation. Current societal challenges such as demographic change are examined in an analytical context.

How is the course structured in the Euro-FH distance learning programme?
The course is organised as a distance learning programme and can be completed individually in either 36 or 48 months standard period of study. You can start your studies at any time. You have the choice between full-time, part-time and dual study options – each completely location-independent.
Your learning materials are available digitally and in print form, complemented by interactive online units, videos, teaching films and podcasts. On the online campus, you will find all the tools for individual study organisation and can network with tutors and other students. Exams are held monthly – either online or at ten examination centres nationwide.
