Admission Requirements

Successful completion of a bachelor's degree with at least 180 ECTS points or an equivalent academic qualification, such as a diploma, is required for admission to this programme.
For a bachelor's degree that has not been fully completed yet, 80% of the required credits must have been earned at the time of application. The remaining credits must be completed by the time of enrollment.
The bachelor's degree must have been completed in a relevant field such as engineering, computer science, or business. Applicants must demonstrate at least 30 ECTS points in modules related to business, information technology, and/or engineering. Missing ECTS points can be replaced by a successfully completed subject-specific interview.
In addition, you must demonstrate proficiency in English at least at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, or at an equivalent level.
Study Contents and Specializations
The Master's programme "SAP Engineering & Analytics" (M.Sc.) at Fresenius University is designed for graduates with a bachelor's degree who wish to deepen their knowledge in data analysis and digital transformation. Developed in collaboration with the SAP University Alliances, the programme offers the opportunity to successfully operate in today's technology landscape. The programme enables students to solve complex business cases and navigate through the dynamic technological environment.
Students acquire in-depth knowledge of SAP technologies and solve complex issues using methodological and analytical skills. The study plan includes the following modules:
- 1st Semester: Introduction into ERP Management, Principles of SAP’s Cloud Suite, Foundations of Software Engineering and Architecture, Web Development with JavaScript and SAP UI5, Research Methodology, Optional: German as a foreign language Level A1.1
- 2nd Semester: SAP Business Technology Platform, Business Analytics and Intelligence, Database Theory and Management, User Experience Design and User Research, Quantitative & Qualitative Methods for Business, Optional: German as a foreign language Level A1.2
- 3rd Semester: Practical SAP Development Project, Data Science and Analysis with Python, Project and Product Management
- 4th Semester: SAP Consulting and Support, Master’s Thesis
In the elective modules, you can focus on two of the following seven areas: Backend Development with C(++), Client-Server Communication with SAP ABAP, Development of SAP Business Applications with Java, Strategies and Concepts of Digital Transformation, Change Management and Digital Business Leadership, IT and Security Management, Business Process Modelling with AI.
Thanks to the cooperation with SAP, students benefit from high practical relevance. Networking opportunities with SAP experts, workshops, and supervision of the final theses complement the practice-oriented study. The practical skills you acquire during participation in SAP software projects are in demand both in the German and international job markets.
