What formal requirements must you meet?
To be admitted to the Master SAP Engineering & Analytics, you need:
- A completed Bachelor’s degree (at least 180 ECTS) in a business, information technology, or engineering-related study programme
- At least 30 ECTS in business, information technology, or engineering modules
- English language skills at level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
If you can provide fewer than 30 relevant ECTS credits, it is possible to compensate the missing subject knowledge through a successfully passed entrance test. No Numerus Clausus is required for admission.
Practical experience in the IT environment or related fields is advantageous, but not mandatory.

The Master's programme SAP Engineering & Analytics focuses on digital transformation and SAP technologies. You will engage intensively with the development, implementation, and analysis of enterprise software based on SAP. The curriculum combines economic, information technology, and engineering perspectives:
- Introduction to ERP management and principles of the SAP Cloud Suite
- Software engineering and software architecture
- Web development with JavaScript and SAP UI5
- SAP Business Technology Platform as well as SAP consulting & support
- Database management and database theory
- User experience design and user-centred research

In the elective area, you will deepen your knowledge, among other things, in backend development with C++, client-server communication with SAP ABAP, development of SAP business applications with Java, IT and security management, change management, as well as business process modelling with artificial intelligence.
Additionally, you can voluntarily take German as a foreign language at levels A1.1 and A1.2 to enhance your communication skills for the German job market.
