Admission Requirements

The prerequisite for admission to this degree programme is a successfully completed bachelor's degree (with the grade "2.5" or better) with at least 180 ECTS credits or a comparable academic qualification, such as a diploma. In case of a different grade average, the ability to study may be demonstrated through a separate selection interview.
In case of an incomplete bachelor's degree, 80% of the required credits must have been completed at the time of application. The remaining credits must be completed by the time of enrollment.
In the previous bachelor's degree, at least 25 ECTS credits should be in the field of business studies, at least 15 ECTS credits in the field of media and communication studies (with a focus on digital media, online marketing and/or social media), and at least 5 ECTS credits in quantitative methods. Missing ECTS credits can be replaced by an admission test or a subject-specific selection interview.
Course Content and Specializations
This postgraduate program will teach you methods and concepts from the fields of Digital Management and General Management. For example, the curriculum includes courses on topics such as Entrepreneurship, digital media, decision theories, international management, financial management, organizational management, and business ethics. You will deepen your theoretical knowledge through case studies in the areas of management, entrepreneurship, and business planning.
The study plan includes the following modules:
- 1st Semester: Digital Transformation, Digital Economy, Creative Tools & Design Thinking, Business Planning & Finance, Digital Law, Empirical Methods in Applied Research
- 2nd Semester: Agile Product and Innovation Management, Digital Marketing & E-Commerce, Digital Media, Performance & Social Media Management, Agile Organization & New Work, Empirical Research Project
- 3rd Semester: Leadership and Management, Digital Entrepreneurship & Leadership, Case Study, Digital Sustainability Management, Fundamentals of Human-Computer Interaction/Interface, Digital Applications & Data Management
- 4th Semester: Elective Module I, Elective Module II, Master's Thesis, Master's Colloquium
In the elective area, you can choose 2 out of these topics: International Management, Digital Business Ethics, Behavioural Decision Making, Business Consulting.
