For admission you need:
- A first professional qualifying higher education degree (Bachelor) with at least 180 ECTS credits
- At least 15 ECTS credits in the subject area of media and communication sciences (with a focus on digital media, online marketing and/or social media)
- At least 25 ECTS credits in the subject area of business administration
- At least 5 ECTS credits in quantitative methods
If you are missing credit points in the specified subject areas, you can still be admitted to the programme by successfully passing an entrance test.
Personal requirements: You should have a strong interest in digitalisation and modern forms of corporate management. Teamwork skills, communication strength and problem-solving competence are as important in everyday study life as openness to innovative technologies and agile working methods. Experience in projects or practical prior knowledge in the area of digital media is an advantage but not a mandatory requirement. Course Structure: How Is the Programme Organised at Hochschule Fresenius?
The programme is designed as a four-semester on-campus master’s degree in the so-called “3-day master” model. You spend three fixed days per week on campus during the semester. This model enables an optimal link between study and practical experience – for example through part-time jobs or working student activities. You study in small groups and benefit from practice-oriented courses, case studies, workshops and guest lectures. Regular elective modules support individual profile development.
During the course of study, you work on projects, set your own focus areas and write a master’s thesis including a colloquium in the final semester. Throughout your studies, you can take advantage of free additional offers for personal development, languages and networking. The programme usually starts in the winter semester.
