Admission requirements

With your M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and International Management you will work, for example, in the management of companies from the production and technology sector.

The prerequisite for admission to this degree programme is a successfully completed Bachelor's degree (with a grade of 2.7 or better) in engineering, industrial engineering or a related subject in the STEM field with at least 180 ECTS credits, or a comparable academic degree, such as a diploma. In case of a deviating grade point average, the eligibility to study can be proven by a separate selection interview, if necessary.

If the Bachelor's degree programme has not yet been completed in full, 80% of the credit points to be acquired must already have been achieved at the time of application. The outstanding achievements must be completed by the time of enrolment at the latest.

In the previous Bachelor's degree programme, at least 60 ECTS should be attributable to STEM subjects (mathematics, information technology, natural sciences and technology), 10 ECTS to business or management and 10 ECTS to your Bachelor's thesis. Missing ECTS points from the subject area of economics can be proven either by a separate entrance test or by proof of a successfully completed commercial vocational training or by at least 18 months of relevant professional activity in business administration.

In the course of your studies, you will also delve into exciting specialisations such as Industrial Internet, Data Science for Business, Virtual Product Development, Smart Production, Technical Applications and Data Management or Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

If you wish, you can integrate an internship semester into your course of study. If you decide on an internship semester, the standard period of study is extended to 7 semesters and you acquire a total of 210 ECTS points in your studies.

Berlin:In Berlin, the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences operates a campus for the Department of Business & Media at Jägerstraße 32, i.e. in Berlin-Mitte directly at the Gendarmenmarkt.
