Requirements and Target Group

The English-language master's programme Industrial Engineering and International Management is aimed at graduates of a first degree in the STEM fields (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, engineering) who wish to prepare for leadership roles and management functions in an international environment. The programme is particularly targeted at applicants seeking to acquire interface skills between engineering and business administration, for example for roles in globally operating industrial companies, technical management, or consulting firms with a focus on Industry 4.0, quality management, or sustainable corporate governance.

Admission: Which formal criteria must you fulfil?

To gain admission to the master's programme Industrial Engineering and International Management at Hochschule Fresenius, you must provide evidence of the following requirements:

  • A first academic degree (e.g. bachelor's) with at least 180 ECTS credits.
  • Proof of at least 60 ECTS from STEM subjects (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, engineering) in the first degree.
  • Successfully completed final project, a bachelor thesis or an equivalent final achievement amounting to at least 10 ECTS credits.
  • English language skills at least at B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
