Admission requirements
Admission to the Applied Health and Therapy Sciences degree programme is granted to those who meet the following requirements:
Proof of a completed university degree with a Bachelor’s or Diploma degree (180 Credit Points according to ECTS) and a final grade of at least "satisfactory" in the fields of Health Sciences, Therapy Sciences, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Elderly Care, or Health and Nursing Care (or others upon request), e.g. Bachelor of Arts in Medical Professions at DIPLOMA University of Applied Sciences.

The distance learning programme Applied Health and Therapy Sciences leading to the degree Master of Arts (M.A.) is aimed at professionals from the health, therapy, and nursing professions who have already obtained an academic Bachelor’s or Diploma degree, e.g. the Bachelor of Arts in Medical Professions at DIPLOMA. The part-time study programme is particularly suitable for entry professions in the fields of physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, elderly care, as well as health and nursing care.
The interdisciplinary Master's programme "Applied Health and Therapy Sciences" (M.A.) offers an ideal academic further qualification as an online distance learning course for all those working in therapy and nursing professions who want to continue their education at Master level alongside their job. In addition, you increase your chances on the labour market, which – due to ongoing scientific developments in medicine as well as the long-standing academisation of health and therapy sciences – opens up diverse opportunities for you.

At DIPLOMA University, you have the possibility to study the Bachelor’s degree programme Applied Health and Therapy Sciences as an online course.
The online distance learning programme at DIPLOMA University is designed according to the “blended learning” principle. This means you work through the study content using study booklets and attend live online seminars. These usually take place on 12 to 14 Saturdays per semester – in exceptional cases also on weekday evenings. You can take your exams online or at an exam centre of your choice.
Costs & Registration
The (online) distance learning courses at DIPLOMA University begin every year in the summer semester (April) and winter semester (October). After individual assessment, it is also possible to start your studies at any other time.
