Details
The Bachelor's degree programme "Global Economics and Management" at Constructor University provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the complex economic and political forces shaping our globalised world. By combining traditional business and economics studies with political science, sociology, and management, students gain a transdisciplinary perspective on the challenges facing today's businesses and economies. The focus is on sustainable development and responsible leadership.
The programme is divided into the so-called "4C Model," which categorises the learning content into three phases: CHOICE, CORE, and CAREER. Additionally, the "CONSTRUCTOR Track" offers students essential skills such as argumentation, data visualisation, and societal engagement.
During the three-year course of study, students complete mandatory internships and have the opportunity to study abroad in the fifth semester. In the first year, they receive an introduction to disciplines such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, and international business. In the second year, they delve into subjects like developmental economics, environmental and resource economics, and the comparison of economic systems. The final year focuses on specialisations in selected areas to prepare students for their professional careers.
