Admission Requirements

Successful completion of a Bachelor's degree with at least 180 ECTS credits or an equivalent academic qualification, such as a Diploma, is a prerequisite for admission to this degree programme.
In the case of a Bachelor's degree that has not yet been fully completed, 80% of the required credits must have been obtained at the time of application. The remaining credits must be completed by the time of enrollment.
In your previous Bachelor's degree, you should have acquired at least 40 ECTS credits in business-related competencies, including 5 ECTS credits in Quantitative Methods. If these requirements are not met, you have the possibility to demonstrate the missing competencies through an admission test.
Study Contents and Specializations
The part-time Master's programme in Human Resource Management at Hochschule Fresenius is designed for professionals who want to deepen their management and leadership skills in the field of human resources. In addition to work, students can benefit from flexible study conditions, as lectures take place both virtually and at locations such as Munich, Cologne, or Hamburg.
A special focus is placed on practical relevance, supported by project management as well as the development of skills in leadership and motivation recognition. The course content also promotes self-reflection and profile building. International experiences can be gained during the Master's Week in the third semester by taking modules in New York City. The study is complemented by regular networking opportunities and the integration of personality training and language courses.

- 1st Semester: Strategic and Operational Human Resource Management, Individual Employment Law, Data Protection, Social (Insurance) Law, and Procedural Law, Research and Scientific Methodology, Digitalization of the Working World, Self-reflection, and Profile Building
- 2nd Semester: Personnel Development and Talent Management, Personnel Marketing, Recruiting and Employer Branding, Collective and Restructuring Labor Law, Leadership and Leadership Personality (Elective), Digital Entrepreneurship (Elective)
- 3rd Semester: International Human Resources Management, Innovations and Trends in Human Resources Management, Contract Design in Labor Law, Shaping and Experiencing the Economy, Behavior-Oriented Decision Making (Elective)
- 4th Semester: Project Management, Leadership and Motivation Recognition, Communication and Structure in Organizations, Economics: Current Trends and Applications

Study Concept and Process
The part-time study programme at Hochschule Fresenius is a so-called hybrid study that optimally combines face-to-face components with online study. This allows you to complete a completely flexible study that integrates perfectly into your everyday life, your professional life, and your family life.
The lectures generally take place on 1-3 evenings per week, usually from 6:00 pm to 9:15 pm. Additional lectures are held on 2-3 Saturdays per month, each from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Practically: You do not have to attend lectures for every module. Many lectures can also be completed online or from home. With your enrollment, you gain access to our learning platform studynet. In addition, you will study with elaborately designed study scripts, the studymags.
