Details
The MA Interior Design at Berlin International is aimed at bachelor graduates in interior design or related creative disciplines such as architecture. The programme builds on the participants' existing creative skills and imparts specialized knowledge to develop creative and sound solutions in the field of interior design. The teaching is closely linked to Berlin's vibrant creative scene and is conducted entirely in English.
In the first year of the programme, the fundamental principles of interior design are deepened. Students have the opportunity to learn more about their interests through electives in design and technology. Projects in the semesters as well as advanced courses in interior visualization enhance professional skills. In the second year, the focus of the programme is on advanced design and research opportunities as well as electives in the theoretical area. Towards the end of the master's programme, students work on design sprints to expand and refine their design skills, ultimately completing a master's thesis and a master design project on a self-selected topic.
