Admission requirements
The admission requirements for the Bachelor's degree programme in Architecture at Berlin International include obtaining the German Abitur or Fachabitur, or an equivalent qualification that meets the equivalence criteria of the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB). Foreign qualifications must meet these criteria to be recognized as equivalent. There are four possibilities for admission eligibility: direct access for all subjects, direct subject-specific access, subject-specific access to the Studienkolleg or the assessment test, and admission is not possible without additional proof of education. Additional qualifications may be required. A language test in English at least at CEFR level B2 is also required.

The Bachelor of Arts in Architecture at Berlin International University of Applied Sciences is a programme aimed at preparing students to develop and implement creative and responsible solutions in an architectural context. The programme is taught entirely in English and is designed for an international audience. The education is closely linked to Berlin's creative scene and offers a practice-oriented and personal learning atmosphere.
In the first year of studies, students acquire fundamental knowledge in areas such as design, structural engineering, visualization, and architectural history. The second year focuses on in-depth materials and construction knowledge, working on design projects, and theoretical reflections on the field, including the examination of urban scenarios. In the third year, students work on an interdisciplinary project involving real customer scenarios, further solidifying knowledge in building law and building physics. In the final year of study, specific courses prepare students for direct entry into the profession. These skills are incorporated into the concluding Bachelor's thesis and the Bachelor's design project. Graduates can pursue careers in various areas of architecture and related industries, including architecture and urban planning firms, cultural and governmental institutions, or in the field of production design for media.
