Admission requirements
- Applicants must provide proof of general university entrance qualification (Abitur) or an equivalent qualification
- Successfully completed relevant vocational training in a social, pedagogical, or health-related field is also accepted
- Applicants must demonstrate sufficient knowledge of German, at least at level C1
- Applicants should already have gained relevant practical experience in the social field

The Bachelor's degree program in Social Work at the APOLLON University of Health Care Management in Bremen lasts for 36 months and is offered on a part-time basis. Graduates receive the title Bachelor of Arts.
The course provides comprehensive knowledge and skills in the field of social work. Students learn the theoretical foundations as well as practical applications. Course topics include social policy, sociology, psychology, education, and methods of social work.
The aim of the program is to prepare students for a professional career in the social sector. Upon completion, they should be able to analyze social problems, design and implement support services, and work professionally with different target groups.
The Social Work program is accredited by FIBAA.
