Who is the Audiodesign (B.A.) Degree Programme at SRH University Suitable For?
The Bachelor's degree programme in Audiodesign is aimed at all those who have a strong interest in music, sound and sound design and wish to engage creatively and technically with auditory media. Admission Requirements
- General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) or advanced technical college entrance qualification
- Alternatively: A completed vocational training can – upon proof of aptitude (e.g. aptitude test, at least two years of training plus three years of professional experience) – also qualify for study
- Artistic work samples: Three independent musical or sound-related works (1 minute each, as MP3 files) must be submitted
- Curriculum vitae with current passport photo
- Copy of identity card (front and back), for international applicants a passport or a National Identity Card
- Practical entrance test: After pre-selection, invitation to a practical exam assessing motivation, creative skills and creativity

How is the Bachelor's Audiodesign programme structured?
The programme lasts 7 semesters and comprises a total of 210 ECTS. Throughout your studies, you will progress from basics to individual specialisations. Teaching is conducted in German or optionally in English.
- 1st and 2nd semesters: Introduction to sound design, studio work, music theory, digital audio workstations and initial practical projects
- 3rd and 4th semesters: Applications in music production, electronic composition, editing & mixing, media law, digital scoring and language practice
- 5th semester: Internship or study abroad (a total of 750 hours / 30 ECTS)
- 6th and 7th semesters: Individual specialisation with elective modules and advanced projects, e.g. in music technology, sound design, composition, game audio or film music. Acquisition of didactic skills through team teaching units.
- Final degree: Bachelor's thesis and presentation of your final project
