The Bachelor’s programme in Business Law is aimed at school leavers with university entrance qualification as well as professionally qualified individuals who seek an interdisciplinary education at the interface of business and law. The target group consists of people interested in legal issues in a business context and looking for a career in management consulting, compliance, contract management or in the field of Legal Tech. You must meet the following formal requirements to be admitted to the Bachelor of Business Law (LL.B.) at SRH University:
- General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur), subject-specific higher education entrance qualification or advanced technical college entrance qualification
- OR: At least two years of completed vocational training and at least three years of professional experience as well as successful participation in an aptitude test
- OR: Equivalent foreign school leaving certificate with proof of sufficient German language skills (e.g. DSH or TestDaF)
- And: Successful completion of the selection procedure or a personal admission interview
Applicants with foreign qualifications must additionally provide proof of university entrance qualification and German language skills.
For the course of study, you should bring analytical thinking ability, a structured way of working and an interest in interdisciplinary issues. Communication skills, initiative and willingness to actively participate – also in practice-oriented projects – are helpful. In the Bachelor’s degree programme in Business Law at SRH University, you combine central legal and economic components. The programme places a clear focus on commercial private law and corporate law, international legal relations, as well as compliance. How is the Business Law degree programme organised?
The full-time programme runs over six semesters and is structured according to the CORE principle (Competence-Oriented Research and Education). In five-week blocks, you work on real case studies and professional projects. At the start of the degree, fundamentals in civil law, contract law, business administration and academic work are the focus. From the second semester onwards, you choose your specialisation profile and deepen specific legal areas, for example international business law, labour law or corporate finance.
An integrated practical phase allows you to apply the acquired knowledge in everyday professional life. The final semester is dedicated to the Bachelor’s thesis and the transition into a career or Master’s programme. All modules include varying examination formats, ranging from written exams to presentations and project work. Courses mostly take place in small groups on campus in Heidelberg.

The tuition fees for the Bachelor of Business Law amount to €690 per month. The total costs for the six-semester programme amount to €24,120 in total. In addition, there is a one-time enrolment fee of €750. The monthly fee remains constant throughout the entire study period. There are no additional fees, for example for exams or repeat exams. Different payment modalities apply for international students from non-EEA countries.
