Details
The degree programme meets the demands of business and industry for graduates who are both legally skilled economists and economically proficient lawyers.
The close integration of legal and business administration content ensures a practice-oriented academic qualification. Contract, obligations and property law, commercial private law as well as economic administrative law are the focus of the first semesters. At the same time, the lectures also include the propaedeutics and the basics of business administration, economics, accounting and economic criminal law. The treatment of legal and business language as so-called soft skills is later complemented by international business law and by negotiation skills, business mediation and contract negotiations (contract drafting). Case studies, marketing and procedural law – such as enforcement and insolvency law – complete the employability of graduates in companies and commercial law firms. Additionally, corporate taxation and control instruments in companies are covered.
Our lecturers mostly come from practical backgrounds and are therefore particularly well suited to convey practice-relevant content.
