To be admitted to the Bachelor's degree in Training & Coaching in Football, you need one of the following qualifications:
- General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) or
- Advanced technical college entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife) or
- a foreign university entrance qualification recognised as equivalent or
- university entrance qualification for professionally qualified applicants according to § 11 of the Berlin Higher Education Act (e.g. master's examination, relevant advanced training or proven several years of professional experience and a passed university entrance examination)
- Applicants from non-German-speaking countries must prove German language skills at the required level.

Upon completion of your studies, you can apply for the Exercise Instructor C Licence (DOSB, cross-sport) already during or after the fourth semester.
How is the course of study organised?
The programme is designed as a part-time, semi-virtual model. You combine flexible online studies with regular on-site phases. The main features are:

- Type of study: Part-time with online phases and on-site workshops (usually one on-site phase per module)
- ECTS credits: 210 (for the Bachelor of Arts)
- Interactive learning platform for asynchronous and synchronous learning, exchange with lecturers and fellow students
- Practical projects, project work, and closely supervised thesis
The modular structure enables you to combine professional, sporting, or family commitments with your studies. Thanks to small study groups, you benefit from individual support and close links to practice.

What costs can you expect and how can you finance your studies?
The tuition fees amount to €495 per month (introductory price). For the entire standard period of study of 7 semesters (3.5 years), this results in a total sum of €21,585. In addition, a one-off registration and examination fee applies. Fees may be adjusted according to the price adjustment clause.
- Instalment payments possible: monthly payment throughout the duration of studies
- Funding options such as BAföG, education loans, or individual scholarship programmes can be utilised depending on personal circumstances
- For students with employment or dual study, the employer may in some cases cover or support part of the costs
A transparent overview of payment options is provided directly by the university. For the application for the DOSB C Licence, an additional fee of €25 is payable to the Landessportbund NRW.
