Since the B.Sc. Physician Assistance bachelor's degree program is a postgraduate program, admission to the program is only possible with one of the following completed training programs:
- Health and nursing care
- Medical assistant
- Medical technologist
- Surgical technical assistant
- Pharmaceutical technical assistant
- Paramedic
- Emergency medical technician
- Geriatric nurse
- Health and children's nurse
- Registered nurse

Whether it's questioning and examining patients, carrying out diagnostic procedures, performing surgery or writing discharge papers – these are all medical tasks that were once reserved exclusively for the doctor in charge. Today, with the doctor's authorization, they can also be carried out independently on the patient by the physician assistant. This role offers new opportunities for the professional development of healthcare professionals.
