What are the admission requirements for the Master’s in Real Estate Management?
To gain admission, you must meet the following formal criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 180 credit points (ECTS) in one of the following fields:
- Architecture
- Construction and engineering sciences
- Urban and regional planning
- Business, law or social sciences
- Proof of relevant practical experience in the field of real estate management
- If you have fewer than 180 credit points, passing an entrance test is required

Course Structure: How Does the Part-Time Online Degree Work?
The Master’s in Real Estate Management lasts 5 semesters (120 ECTS) and is specifically designed for working professionals. The course takes place entirely on Hochschule Fresenius’s online campus and is based on a virtual live study model. Key features of the course structure are:
- Classes 1–2 evenings per week plus two Saturdays per month
- Live lectures via Zoom with direct interaction with lecturers and fellow students
- Flexibility through online exams – alternatively, on-site exams at nine examination centres in Germany
- Course start possible in both the winter and summer semesters
- Study-relevant additional offers: language courses, career development, start-up and networking events included in the scope

Costs and Financing: What Do You Pay and How Can You Finance It?
The tuition fees amount to 395 euros monthly over 30 months, a total of 11,850 euros. In addition, a one-time enrolment fee of 250 euros is charged. The price includes all study materials, use of the online campus as well as a broad range of additional offers such as language courses, personal development, career workshops and networking events. The following financing options are available:
- BAföG – for students who meet the individual requirements
- Scholarships – awarded by the university or external organisations
- Study loans and education funds – e.g. KfW study loan or private providers
- Consultation through the study financing team at Hochschule Fresenius
The course structure is designed so that you can work alongside and finance your studies flexibly. Many employers support further education through grants or paid leave.
