These are the requirements for the Master's in Real Estate Management

With your Master's in Real Estate Management, you could work as a Real Estate Consultant, Asset Manager, or Corporate Real Estate Manager.

The IU International University offers the Master's in Real Estate Management in 2 versions: the 60-ECTS version lasts 2 semesters in full-time studies, and the 120-ECTS version lasts 4 semesters in full-time studies.

For both versions, a first degree from a state-recognized or state university is required, such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree. Your degree's final grade should be at least "Satisfactory."

For the 60-ECTS version, the following is also required:

  • If your first degree is 240 ECTS and you can demonstrate at least 1 year of qualified work experience, you can be immediately enrolled in the Master's program.
  • If your first degree is 210 ECTS and you can demonstrate at least 1 year of qualified work experience, you can be immediately enrolled in the Real Estate Management Master's program.
  • If your first degree is 180 ECTS, you take courses totaling at least 30 ECTS and additionally demonstrate at least 1 year of work experience. Alternatively, you demonstrate at least 2 years of qualified work experience.

For the 120-ECTS version, the following is also required:

  • Your first degree should have a focus on economics or business administration.
  • If your first degree does not have a corresponding focus, you will take a Master's admission exam. If you pass, you will be enrolled in the Real Estate Management Master's program.

In addition, you can have extensive prior credits recognized to shorten your study time in distance learning and save on tuition fees. Credits you earned in previous Master's programs can be recognized. The university can also recognize comprehensive work experience in the field of real estate management. It's best to submit your recognition request along with your application.
