For admission, you need the general higher education entrance qualification or university of applied sciences entrance qualification and the successful completion of the multi-stage NORDAKADEMIE admission procedure as well as an internship contract with a cooperative company of NORDAKADEMIE.

According to the occupational profile, the dual Bachelor's degree programme in Industrial Engineering initially imparts broad foundational knowledge in all functional areas of a company. The aim of the Industrial Engineering (B.Sc.) programme is to enable students to systematically prepare and successfully implement business decisions in all functional areas of a company based on scientific methods. Naturally, the interfaces between business management and technical tasks are the main focus of the functional areas. Due to the dual study system, the contents of the study programme are closely linked with those of the training company.

In the fifth to seventh semesters, core topics are deepened in the compulsory modules. These include courses such as machine technology, production and quality management, logistics/process management, investment goods marketing, and controlling/investment as well as financing as mandatory specialisations.

In addition to the core content of engineering and economics as well as technology management, the integration areas in the curriculum are also taken into account. Here, the necessary knowledge for the use of information technology in this field is imparted. The teaching of the legally relevant areas for business completes the integration area.

The degree programme offers students options for individual specialisation. The area of seminars within the framework of Studium Generale can also be used flexibly to offer new specialisation directions at short notice.
