Admission requirements
For admission to this course of study, you need:
- Practical professional knowledge and a general/specific higher education entrance qualification or advanced technical college entrance qualification
Admission without a high school diploma:
- Advisory interview and proof of a suitable, subject-specific advanced training examination
- with completed vocational training or two years of professional experience: advisory interview and entrance examination

At the interface between business and technology, the industrial engineer is a competent partner for specialised engineers and business professionals. In the course of study, you will work on topics that require both engineering and economic knowledge. With a focus on mechanical engineering, you prepare yourself for one of the most common fields of application in the industry. The specialisations available are Business Informatics, Product Development, Logistics, Production Technology/Product Management, and Quality Management.
The start of studies is on 1 January and 1 July each year. The application deadline is 15 November or 15 May each year.
