Admission Requirements

In order to start university studies at Fresenius University, applicants must demonstrate the necessary qualification for the course of study (university entrance qualification). This is demonstrated by:
- the general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur), which entitles you to study at all universities and in all federal states,
- or the subject-specific higher education entrance qualification, which entitles you to study in the corresponding subject area and in the federal states specified in the certificate,
- or the university of applied sciences entrance qualification, which entitles you to study at a university of applied sciences or in a structured degree program at a university in the federal states specified in the certificate.
Alternatively, you can also be admitted without Abitur or university of applied sciences entrance qualification. Provided the following for studying without Abitur:
- You have passed a master craftsman's examination.
- Or you have a qualification in accordance with the Regulation on Access for Professionally Qualified Persons to Universities in the State of Hesse, that is, either a qualification from a professional advanced training course of at least 400 hours, a qualification from a technical school, or a vocational or administrative academy, or a passed final examination in a state-recognized training occupation followed by at least three years of professional activity and passing a separate university entrance examination.
- For foreign qualifications, equivalence must be demonstrated for admission.

During the studies, students acquire both business management and scientific methodological competencies necessary for successful planning, organization, and implementation of events in live entertainment and sports.
The programme regularly integrates on-site weeks at D.LIVE, one of the leading providers in the events industry, to ensure that students are in direct contact with industry professionals and gain industry-specific knowledge.

Study Concept and Structure
The part-time study programme at Fresenius University is a so-called hybrid study that optimally combines attendance-based components with online study. This allows you to complete a completely flexible programme that integrates seamlessly into your daily life, professional life, and family life.
The lectures usually take place on 2-3 evenings a week, typically from 6:00 pm to 9:15 pm. Additional lectures are held on 2-3 Saturdays per month, each from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
