Dresden International University (DIU)

The Dresden International University (DIU) was founded in 2003 and is a state-recognized private university based in Dresden, Germany. As a subsidiary of the Dresden University of Technology Corporation (TUDAG), DIU closely collaborates with the Dresden University of Technology (TU Dresden) and has been an official affiliated institute of TU Dresden since 2010. Focusing on practice-oriented study programs, DIU has around 1283 students (as of the winter semester 2023/2024).

Programs and Departments

DIU offers part-time bachelor's and master's programs as well as certification courses in the four main areas of health care, medicine, management, and engineering. Bachelor's programs in health care include disciplines such as chiropractic, dental hygiene, midwifery, paramedic services, osteopathy, nursing, and physiotherapy. Master's programs cover topics like clinical research, ethics in medical care, multiple sclerosis management, periodontics, corporate digital leadership, and hydrogen technology. In addition, DIU offers a variety of academic certificates, including Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) and Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS).

DIU follows a personalized educational strategy tailored to the individual needs of students, characterized by close supervision and small study groups (10 to 35 participants).
