The Master's programme in Clinical Research at Dresden International University provides students with a comprehensive education in the methodology and practice of clinical research. Participants learn to independently develop and implement clinical research projects, negotiate contracts, and assess the risks and benefits of their projects. Particularly noteworthy is the collaboration with Harvard University, which allows graduates of the "Principles and Practice of Clinical Research (PPCR)" to shorten their study time in the Master's programme.

The programme is aimed at graduates and students of the PPCR course, medical professionals and nurses interested in clinical research, as well as researchers in the medical field.   • Module 1 - Fundamentals of Clinical Research - Theory: Introduction to clinical studies, theory of study management methods, principles of statistical analysis, designing a clinical study, principles of study management and types of studies.
  • Module 2 - Advanced Clinical Research - Applications: Applied biostatistics, data visualization, workshop on R\/RStudio.
  • Module 3 - Innovations in Clinical Research: Scientific presentation, dealing with modern media, health economic outcomes research, big data and artificial intelligence, real-world data\/real-world evidence, health technology assessment.
  • Master's Thesis: After completing these modules, students write a master's thesis on a topic in clinical research.
