Are There English-Taught Master's Degrees in Contract Law at Private Universities in Germany?

You're probably referring to the Contract Law (LL.M.) programme at IU International University, which is taught in German. The English title on our website is a translation of the German programme name; it does not indicate an English-taught degree. IU does not offer a separate English-language track for this programme.

If you need to complete your courses and examinations entirely in English, this particular master’s programme is therefore not suitable. We currently do not list an English-taught master’s at a private German university that specialises exclusively in contract law.

A broader English-language alternative is the Master of Law and Business (LL.M./MLB) at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg. It is taught entirely in English and covers contractual and commercial-law issues within a wider interdisciplinary law-and-business curriculum. However, it is not a specialised Contract Law degree.
