Details
The course "Psychology" at the European Distance University Hamburg GmbH provides fundamental knowledge in various areas of psychology. The content includes General Psychology, Biological Psychology, Social Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and Differential Psychology.
Furthermore, methods and diagnostics are covered, including scientific work, psychological research methods, psychological diagnostics, computer-assisted data analysis, and qualitative research. Students learn to apply and deepen their knowledge in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Organizational Psychology, Occupational Psychology, and Health Management.
The course also offers insights into the field of Law as a supplementary subject. Students complete a practical project and write a Bachelor's thesis. The degree awarded is a Bachelor of Science.
The course lasts for 36 months and includes six 2-day presence seminars as well as online seminars. This provides a comprehensive understanding of the various subfields of psychology and prepares students for practical application.
