The study programme 'International Relations: Politics and History' at Constructor University offers a comprehensive education in the disciplines of international relations and history. It is designed for students interested in complex global challenges and pursuing a career in fields such as politics, diplomacy, or public relations.
The programme combines theoretical approaches from political science, history, law, and philosophy, providing students with solid analytical skills. The course is structured as a three-year, 180 ECTS full-time programme, consisting of a structured curriculum with mandatory and elective modules.
The first two years cover the basics of international relations and modern European history. Students deepen their knowledge in areas such as international political economy, history of globalization, and advanced theories of international relations. Additionally, they have the option to choose from a wide range of elective subjects, including political philosophy, political decision science, and cybersecurity governance.
A unique feature of the programme is the mandatory internship period between the second and third year of study. This allows students to gain practical experience and apply the knowledge acquired during their studies. During the third year of study, particular emphasis is placed on specialisation and the dissertation, which is a significant research component of the programme.
