Admission requirements
Applicants must hold a first academic degree (B.A.) or an international equivalent. If you do not yet have a first degree, please indicate when you will obtain it in your application. The degree must be obtained no later than 31st August in order to start the programme on 1st September. All applicants must be proficient in the English language and be able to confirm this with a suitable certificate or by providing evidence of native language proficiency.
Details
The Master of Public Policy provides comprehensive training for future leaders who wish to understand complex governance challenges and develop innovative solutions. The target audience includes dedicated individuals aiming for a career in national or international public or private institutions.
The programme is interdisciplinary and practice-oriented, covering modules in economics, political science, sociology, law, public management, and data science.
In the first year of study, students develop fundamental analytical skills and learn the principles of public administration and law. In the second year, students deepen their knowledge in their chosen specialisation and have the opportunity to make an original contribution to the scholarly investigation of a specific policy challenge by writing a master's thesis.
The programme places great emphasis on the development of analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as ethical considerations regarding good governance. Students acquire practical skills in statistics, economics, and public management.
