Admission requirements

Prospective students must have a school-leaving certificate that qualifies them for university studies. It is assumed that applicants have an affinity for gaming and media. Curiosity about the production process of digital games as well as enjoyment in creating new characters and worlds are advantageous.

The course in Game Design and Interactive Media is aimed at creative minds with a passion for gaming and media. The goal is to prepare students for a career in the dynamic gaming industry. The course covers essential areas such as interactive and visual storytelling, interface and interaction design, as well as the development and design of digital games. Students acquire in-depth knowledge in Concept Art, Modelling and Texturing, all the way to the application of Game Engines and Level Design.

The training is practice-oriented, with a six-month mandatory internship and the option to complete the course as a dual study programme. In a dual practice-integrated course, students work concurrently in a company that finances the studies.

Possible professions include Game Designer, Media Designer and Animator. At the end of the course, a wide range of opportunities await, ranging from large international companies to small specialized studios.
