- Applicants with a secondary school leaving certificate or intermediate school leaving certificate may be admitted if they can additionally provide a completed vocational training of at least three years with a minimum grade of 2.5
- Proof of very good English skills (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge, Pearson, Duolingo or good English grades in the Abitur certificate; if you attended an English-speaking school or have proven native speaker skills, the certificate may be waived)
The selection takes place in a multi-stage process consisting of a knowledge and personality test (mathematical, analytical, communicative and problem-solving skills), an individual selection interview (focus: motivation, soft skills, personality traits) as well as an overall assessment of the application documents. External tests (SAT, ACT, Gaokao) are partly recognised as substitutes for the EBS online test, provided the school leaving certificate is also presented. Application with the final half-year report card is possible if the final certificate is still pending.
Application deadlines do not formally exist; submissions are recommended by 30 June (winter semester) or 30 November (summer semester); for international applicants requiring a visa by 30 May or 15 October respectively.
