Details
Do you want to build a career as a physiotherapist, take on management responsibilities, underpin your work scientifically, and always rely on solid practical knowledge? With the Bachelor’s degree programme in Physiotherapy (B.Sc.) at MSH Medical School Hamburg, you are optimally prepared for your professional future. Alongside the university of applied sciences degree programme at the Faculty of Health Sciences, you will complete a practical vocational training with a state-recognised qualification. After four years, you will have a double certification that qualifies you for various levels of work in physiotherapy and, if necessary, also facilitates changing jobs abroad.
An advantage of the part-time bachelor’s degree programme in Physiotherapy at MSH is not only the double qualification but also the acquisition of interdisciplinary expertise. Those who wish to specialise in disciplines such as sports or neuroscience benefit from an exceptionally comprehensive range of courses at the University of Health and Medicine. Another major plus is that already 90 of the 180 required credits from the vocational training are credited towards the degree programme, given equivalent content.
Teaching takes place in small learning groups and in close contact with highly qualified academic staff. The close networking of MSH with the company-owned state-recognised vocational school for physiotherapy is also ideal. Both institutions share the campus in Hamburg’s HafenCity. There is also a direct cooperation alongside studies with the Segeberg Clinics and various other partners, where students complete practical units in connection with teaching units, especially in the neuroscientific field.
The bachelor’s degree programme is state-recognised and professionally accredited.
