Admission requirements
In order to participate in this degree programme, you must go through a two-stage application process, which includes a written application process and a personal selection process. During the selection process, you are required to demonstrate your personal suitability and motivation through a written medical test and an individual interview with an integrated case simulation. A written application is mandatory.
The admission process for studying medicine at MSH consists of two stages: a written test and an individual interview. New students entering the clinical phase of studies and lateral entrants after the first semester are exempt from this.
Written Test: A 90-minute multiple-choice test will assess basic scientific principles in biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics. The results count towards 25% of the admission decision. The test is internal to the university; external tests like the TMS are not recognised.
Individual Interview with Case Simulation: In a 20-minute video interview, personal suitability, motivation, resilience, as well as experience and commitment are evaluated. A case simulation is also part of the interview. This section carries a weight of 75% in the admission decision.
The entire process is conducted digitally. Upon successful completion of the process, a study place will be offered for the next available semester, depending on availability. Early applications are recommended. Participants with pending high school qualifications can participate on a provisional basis, provided they successfully pass the high school examination.
