The Bachelor's degree program "Nursing" at the APOLLON University of Health Care Management is designed for working nursing professionals with a completed three-year education in nursing, pediatric nursing, elderly care, or as a nursing specialist. The program is part-time and comprises 180 credit points according to the ECTS system, with 90 CP being recognized due to previous education.
The focus of the program is on deepening nursing scientific expertise and academicizing the nursing profession. Students should be enabled to design complex nursing processes based on evidence and work in both inpatient and outpatient care facilities. A strong focus on research and methods supports the theory-practice transfer.
The program consists of a total of 25 modules, divided into the first study section with virtual modules and the second study section with mandatory and elective modules. The total workload is 5,400 hours, with 2,700 hours allocated to recognized competencies. The completion of the program leads to a Bachelor of Science degree.
