- Access route 1: Possible qualifications for admission include the Abitur, the Fachhochschulreife, the Fachgebundene Hochschulreife (if applicable), a master's examination, a business administrator, an advanced training qualification or a comparable degree, a university degree or an equivalent foreign university entrance qualification (recognition may be required)
- Access route 2: Alternatively, access is possible with a completed, at least two-year vocational training, at least three years of professional experience, and participation in further training events. In this case, participation in a placement test is required, which does not take place before the studies, but is carried out within the first 6 months of the studies. In this process, two exams must be passed before the end of the first six months of study, which are already part of the study plan

The Bachelor of Arts in Health Economics at the APOLLON University of Health Care Management in Bremen is a part-time study program lasting 48 months.
