Admission requirements

To enable effective learning in small study groups, the number of students per semester is limited to a maximum of 50 people. Therefore, unfortunately, a study place cannot be guaranteed to every applicant.

The admission requirements are:

  • the advanced technical college entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife) as well as a basic technical internship (6 weeks)

By the end of the 4th semester, an additional commercial internship of at least 6 weeks must be demonstrated.

Industrial engineers often work at the interface between business and engineering, for example in technical sales, project management, or production management.

For these cross-disciplinary tasks, we provide you with the necessary interdisciplinary expertise. In addition to a solid fundamental education in engineering sciences, you will acquire business management knowledge as well as the soft skills that are essential in management roles today.

This way, you will be perfectly prepared to take on responsible positions in business and industry.

The mathematics bridging course is offered to all regularly enrolled first-semester students before the semester begins. The dates will be announced in writing upon admission or enrolment.
