    Hi dear,
I want to learn about admission requirements. My dauhter is a Turkish high school student.
Should she take YKS university entry exam in Turkey or her high school transcript and diploma is enough with english language certificate.
    • Christian Wolf, Editor-in-chief · 1 months ago
@servet korkmaz For admission to the Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering at SRH University Heidelberg, your daughter does not need to take the YKS university entry exam in Turkey. The programme accepts applicants with a general university entrance qualification (like the German Abitur) or a university of applied sciences entrance qualification, as well as those with a recognised vocational qualification plus professional experience.

Therefore, her high school transcript and diploma, together with an English language certificate, should generally be sufficient, provided her qualification is recognised as equivalent to a general university entrance qualification. Since the programme is NC-free (no numerus clausus) and admission is based on individual eligibility, the formal recognition of her school-leaving certificate is the key.

I recommend contacting the SRH University admissions office directly to verify whether her Turkish high school diploma meets the entrance requirements or whether additional documentation is needed. Also, they can confirm the accepted English language certificates.

If you wish, I can help with more information about the recognition of Turkish diplomas or the English language requirements.
