Details
The Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) Civil Engineering program combines engineering expertise with sustainable and practical solutions for the construction world of tomorrow. You also have the opportunity to take your professional expertise as a master craftsman or state-certified technician to the next level in a shortened postgraduate program. The job market demands experts with technical know-how and economic skills. Take advantage of your existing qualifications and embark on a compact, practice-oriented course of study.
As a graduate, you can become a member of an engineering chamber (in all federal states) and thus a design author authorized to submit construction documents. In addition to membership in a chamber of engineers, you must also provide proof of at least two years of professional experience after graduation. You will then receive full building submission authorization. You will also gain important prerequisites for choosing a future focus in sustainability management and/or building energy consulting, as well as becoming a building submission authorizer or expert.
We offer the part-time B.Eng. Civil Engineering degree program both as a face-to-face program at the Frechen campus in close cooperation with the Handwerkskammer Köln and as a flexible distance learning program at FHM Online University.
