What admission requirements must you meet?

For admission to the Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate at EBZ Business School, one of the following formal requirements applies:

  • General university entrance qualification (Abitur), subject-specific university entrance qualification or university of applied sciences entrance qualification
  • Vocational qualification, for example, a completed vocational training with at least three years of relevant professional experience
  • An equivalent, recognised prior qualification according to the respective state legal regulations
In addition, English language skills at level B1 are required. Proof can be provided by a recognised language certificate or through an appropriate qualification as part of the (specialised) Abitur. How Does the Degree Programme Work?

The course lasts 6 semesters (full-time) or 7 semesters (part-time alongside work) and is divided into various teaching formats. At the start of your studies, you choose from the following organisational formats:

  • Full-time on-campus study at the Bochum campus: Regular classes, personal support, direct exchange with lecturers and fellow students. Intake each winter semester.
  • Part-time alongside work: On-site sessions at the Bochum or Hamburg locations or as a digital distance learning programme. Start possible in summer or winter semester. The organisation is tailored to working professionals.
  • Distance learning (digital): Flexible online studies with virtual classes, digital content, and optional on-site offerings.

The curriculum consists of foundational seminars, subject-specific modules, and the chosen specialisation (from the 4th semester onwards). During the course, you work on practical projects and participate in interactive classes.
