What admission requirements apply?
To be admitted to the Bachelor's degree course in Real Estate Management, you need one of the following formal qualifications:
- General university entrance qualification (Abitur) or university of applied sciences entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife)
- A foreign university entrance qualification recognised as equivalent
- Professionally qualified individuals with a completed vocational training of at least two years and subsequently at least three years of professional experience (according to § 49 para. 10 HG NRW), if applicable after passing an aptitude test
- Master craftsman’s certificate or a comparable advanced training qualification (e.g. specialist/business administrator, technician)
- A shortening of the study duration to 6 semesters is possible for certain recognised commercial training qualifications
You should have an interest in economic issues, in analysing markets and trends, as well as in sustainable urban and real estate development. For part-time study, self-motivation, good time management and the ability to acquire knowledge independently are important. Experience in the commercial sector, service orientation and initial contact with real estate management processes are advantageous but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and confident handling of digital tools will help you successfully complete your studies and assert yourself in a dynamic market environment.

In the Bachelor's degree programme in Real Estate Management at Hochschule Fresenius, you will receive a thorough and practice-oriented education covering all central aspects of the real estate industry. How is the program structured?
The program is designed to be studied part-time and has a standard duration of seven semesters (with the option to shorten it to six semesters if you have relevant prior qualifications). You will study in a virtual live format at the Online Campus of Hochschule Fresenius: Lectures take place live via Zoom at fixed times. This gives you a clear lecture schedule while remaining location-independent and able to flexibly combine your studies with your professional and private life. Most exams can be taken online if needed, or alternatively at one of the examination centers in Germany. The key elements of the study structure are:
- Virtual live program at the Online Campus with fixed lecture times on one to two evenings per week and on two Saturdays per month
- A fixed semester schedule to help you reliably plan alongside your job
- Location-independent studying with direct interaction with lecturers and fellow students in the virtual classroom
- Practical projects, case studies, and transfer tasks with direct relevance to real estate practice
- Integration of elective modules and an individual practical project during the course of your studies
- Completion of the program with a Bachelor’s thesis on a current topic from the real estate sector
The program is taught in German and starts each winter and summer semester. You benefit from small study groups, close support, flexible exam formats, and digital learning opportunities at the Online Campus.

Hochschule Fresenius offers the part-time Bachelor’s program in Real Estate Management as a virtual live program at the Online Campus. You study digitally, but not on your own: Classes are delivered live via Zoom, so you remain independent of location while staying closely connected with your lecturers and fellow students. This way, you can bring the campus feeling directly to your home.
At the Online Campus, you study in a modern, fully digital environment: with fixed lecture times, interactive live sessions, and the option to take many of your exams online. In addition, examination centers in Germany are available if you prefer to sit your exams in person.

Costs and Financing – What Do You Need to Budget for Your Studies?
The tuition fees amount to 345 euros per month. This results in total costs of 14,490 euros over the regular seven semesters. Additionally, a one-time registration fee of 250 euros is charged.
